The Highlander Pipe and Drum Band Unit

     First and foremost, all of our members are "Ainad Shriners"; a brotherhood of men who are dedicated to fun and fellowship, but who also have a serious purpose. Shriners are distinguished by an enjoyment of life and a commitment to philanthropy.

  As the largest Pipe and Drum band in Southern Illinois, we perform for you, the community, and for those who appreciate our cause.  How we do this is by participating in mostly local events (e.g. parades, dances, dinners, sporting events and various other social occasions).  Through our music, we show dedication, support, pride and representation for what has been called one of the "World's Greatest Philanthropy"
