2010 Queen - Shirley McCain
Ladies of the Household,
This past year went by so fast that I can hardly believe that I have just been installed Queen of this beautiful Temple for this great organization, Daughters of the Nile. It shall be a pleasure to represent Al Sihah Temple No. 29. I have said it so many times that I did not desire to be Queen; but with the circumstances as they were, I changed my mind.
Everyone has been so helpful this past year and I owe this honor to all of you. With God on our side, we shall do the very best to continue to do all that we can to help the Shriners Hospitals.
There are many lovely ladies working on our sewing days, who sew for the hospital, quilt and create crafts. Please come on down on Tuesdays and enjoy the time we spend together.
This beautiful order belongs to all of us. I certainly hope that I will not be a disappointment to any of you. I shall give it my very best to honor all of you.
