Meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at Ainad Shrine at 7:30 PM.
Arab Patrol (The Patrol), the first Uniformed Unit of Ainad Shrine celebrates its 100th birthday in 2012.
The purpose of the Patrol is to maintain a drill team at all times that is proficient in Military Drills and
Tactics. Furthermore, its mission is to promote fellowship between members of the Patrol and their families
and to support activities of Ainad Shriners as may be designated by the Illustrious Potentate.
The Patrol is not a military unit and does not require that you have a military background to become
a member. However, the Patrol does specialize in performing "Close Order" military style drills at local
parades and shrine functions. Also, we provide services for numerous shrine functions and activities and
are front and center parking cars and providing needed information to all customers attending the Shrine Circus.
It isn't all work and no play for the Patrol. We do work hard, but we also like to have fun. We do host
several family events and dinners throughout the year. In the spring, right in the middle of drill practice,
we throw a "Ladies Night" dinner, with members preparing and serving the ladies and members of the Divan for
a wonderful evening, as well as numerous other functions throughout the year.
The Patrol is a leader in Ainad Shrinedom. Through the years, the Patrol has raised money for the Shriners Hospitals for Children,
led Ainad in Circus sales and provided men in leadership positions. We are proud to say that many Past Potentates are
Come join us. If you want to lose (marching) or gain (socialize) a little weight,
come join The Patrol. We work hard to please everyone's needs.
